Monogrammed Decals

Okay so I may just be a little obsessed with monograms.
They just make everything feel more personal and look ten times cuter.
To further feed this obsession, I totally plan on monogramming all my school supplies this year.
It will make going back to school seem less painful.
I can see it now...monograms on my books, laptop, pencils.

Check out some of these great monograms!

I find Etsy to be one of the best places to buy personalized monograms from.  There are hundreds of styles and the prices can't be beat.

I think these are great because they can be used for so many purposes - on notebooks, binders, computers, boxes!

How great are these monogrammed iPhone charger stickers?

Okay so this may be taking it a little too far...but hey, it could be a thing.

Obsessed with this sparkly sticker.

I've had these before...not the best in terms of staying.  However when it's on it does look really cute!

Are you a monogramaholic?

Liebskind Bag Review

Hi!
Before I start writing about my new purchase, I wanted to address the little changes on my blog.
{I've had this blog for a little more than two years now and I am continuously learning about what my interests are what I enjoy most writing about.
I'm only seventeen and within the past few years, I've gone through so many 'phases' and grew so much.  With growing, comes change.  I hope you will all stick with me through these changes!}

Now onto the more better half of this post...I bought a new purse!
For the past year I have been trying to find a new black bag that I could use as an everyday bag. While strolling through Bloomingdales of Fifth Ave, I saw this Liebskind bag on display.
Prior to this encounter, I've never heard or seen Liebskind bags.
So I decided to do a little research....and this is what I found.

- The brand started in Berlin, Germany.
- Each of their pieces are made by hand individually, so they are each unique.
- Liebskind entered the US market in 2009.

These few facts alone intrigued me enough to make me want to learn more.
There aren't many reviews on blogs of Liebskind bags, or at least in English, but I was able to come across some comments on this PurseForum thread.
After scrolling through pages, and pages of reviews about the amazing quality of the "buttery leather" and "unbeatable prices" I was convinced that I needed to hit up Bloomies to get another look.

While I ended up going to look at this bag, in the end I walked out with this bag.
I figured the later bag was more classic and isn't as trendy.
I absolutely love the size and the way it collapses.
The detachable shoulder strap is perfect for shopping or strolling in the city.
Additionally, the price is unbeatable for the quality of the leather.

Here are some pictures of my bag:
{Sorry for my low-quality pictures!}

Liebskind makes bags in a variety of styles and colors.
The bag I purchased comes in all the neutrals, but also in fun colors like salmon and tangerine.
These are some of my favorite other Liebskind bags:

So if you're on the hunt for a new bag, I highly suggest that you go to your local department store and check these out!

Sunday Snapchat [8.16.13]

Happy Sunday!

Just working on some college apps and summer reading!

Started the weekend off right with a Backstreet Boys concert!  Jesse McCartney stole my heart, swoon.

They still got it goin' on.

So three hours after we got home from the Backstreet Boys concert, we headed to the city for Luke Bryan on the Today Show.  Although he only sang a few songs, I think it was worth waking up at three for.

He's such a cutie.

Spent my Saturday cleaning and organizing.  Next on my list...my makeup draw.

Fireworks at Red Bull Stadium.  Definitely made up for being out of the country on the fourth!

Although the sky was extremely gloomy today, shopping in the city was successful!
I was beyond excited to be reunited with the gelato I fell in love with in Barcelona - Amarino!

Summer Hair Care: Hair Masks

During the summer, it's always about skin care.
Protecting your skin is the hot topic. But what about protecting your hair?
The sun does terrible things to your hair.

Hair masks are the perfect weapon to combat the sun's damage!

Summer Hair Care: Hair Masks

Here are some of my favorite hair masks.

My all time favorite is Aussies 3 Minute Miracle.  It's extremely cheap and works miracles on my hair.

The Gloss Moderne High-Gloss Masque and Amika Nourishing Hair Mask both came as samples in my Birchbox.  They both have a divine smell, and leave my hair feeling luscious and smooth.  They are both a little more on the pricy side, and I don't know if I would shell out the money to buy them.  However, if you are looking to indulge, I totally recommend them!

The last two (It's a 10 Miracle Hair Mask and TRESemmè Reuvenating Mud Masque) I have not tried, but heard nothing but great things about.

Do you have a favorite hair mask?

Sunday Snapshot [8.11.13]

Happy Sunday! (or almost Monday)
I spent my Sunday at the outlet center in Pennsylvania, starting a little back to school shopping.
Yes, back to school shopping.  It makes me cringe too.

But it's still summer.
Last night I had the ideal summer night at the Kenny Chesney concert at MetLife Stadium.
It was absolutely amazing!

It was a great night of good music and good fun.

Have a great week!

Free People August Catalogue

I rarely shop at Free People.  I find a lot of their pieces to be difficult to style.
However sometimes I come across the most amazing pieces there.
For example, their whole August catalogue.  Not even kidding, it's perfect.
I was just going to throw it out, but I decided to flip through a few pages and ended up studying each page and circling everything I want.
Between the mix of textures and rich colors, I'm more excited for fall than ever.

Shop my favorite looks from the book!
I'm in love with the first two outfits!  Sweaters and leather...fall where are you?
Shop:

Tell me this tunic top isn't just so fun and unique.

Obsessed with this sweatshirt pullover.  It's perfect for those lazy fall days.

How amazing is this little red band jacket over the striped peplum thermal?

The countdown to fall clothes begins!

Are you liking these looks as much as I am?

August {Florida & Back to School}

I've been terrible at positing so sporadically lately.  Unfortunately with so much travel between Spain, Florida, and college visits, it's been difficult finding time.
However, I'm hoping that August brings tons of downtime to just relax and write!
I just got back from spending a little more than a week in Florida and can't be happier to be home.
Vacations are fun, but I have so much to do at home and it feels great to be able to get it all done.

I cannot believe it's August already.  This summer is flying by.
Stores are starting their 'Back to School' campaigns and fall clothes are the only thing on my mind.
However Summer defiantly isn't over yet.   I still have five weeks until I return to school for my senior year.

So far my Summer has been going far more amazing that I could have ever imagined and I can't wait to make these last five weeks memorable!
